This article provides answers to the most frequently asked questions about the prism adaptation phase of the MindLenses Professional protocol.
What can I do if the patient complains of excessive arm fatigue during the entire session?
You may reduce the patient's sense of fatigue by partially supporting the weight of the arm at the elbow level. However, it is important not to perform the pointing movement on behalf of the patient.
Which arm should be used for prism adaptation if the patient is left-handed?
The left arm. The arm used for prism adaptation is not determined by the lens deviation direction but should be the dominant one. In cases of hemiparesis affecting the dominant limb, the preserved limb should be used.
